“Here is one of my favorite models, and perhaps one of the most overlooked by site members*. I'm reposting it as an update now, as we bring all our earlier content into the new format.
Yelena was just 19 when this session was done, in my old Emeryville studio during a photo workshop. She was an agency model, but happy to do some nudes for my small group of students. These shots of mine were done as simple demonstrations of lighting and posing, but I think they turned out to be some of my most compelling nude portraits. (A separate series of b&w shots from this day will be going up shortly)”
